Daughter of former Beatle Paul McCartney and photographer Linda, many would say that Stella McCartney had big shoes to fill. I think it is without a doubt clear that she stands out all on her own. Born on August 13, 1971, Stella grew up in London. She went to college to study fashion at Central St. Martins, and went on to start her own label in 2001. Stella is known for her morally conscious clothing, including her vegan imitation leather shoes which are bio-degradable. Besides having her own line, she has collaborated with Adidas and Gap. Stella has many feats under her belt, including being chosen as Creative Director of Team Great Britain for the 2012 Olympics, and working at Chloe as chief designer when she was 26. Her design style has been called sexy, contemporary, casual, and cool. The best way to understand her vision though, is to listen to her speak about her designs and her love for fashion.
